Shameless Self-Promo // Quondam Band Nostalgia

7

Shot with a 3GS — courtesy of my younger kin, Eric (@Bluemojo82) — the following is a clip of your bespectacled narrator’s bygone music project, Tigertronic (R.I.P.), performing Lenny’s Last Roar at The Red & The Black on April 1st, 2010.  Check it out.  Funniest anecdote of that evening featured our bassist, Mamawia, showing up late, jumping onto the stage and plugging into his amp, mid-song.  Everybody thought it was planned.  (Wish we got that on video).

You already know what I think about this song. It’s very complicated, I like it.

I run a very small antique shop and my days are long 6 hours on my own. I somtmiees play a radio (very low) for personal use to stop myself going potty usually Jeremy Vine with a bit of music splattered and when prospective customers come in I either turn it off or right down so that I can have a conversation with them and hopefully make a sale, so I do not play it for the public to listen to also I have no employees. PPL have now contacted me and after explaining all of this to them they are suggesting that I need a licence but I said to them it is not for public listening only my own but they are still adimant that it would be required. I will refuse to pay this so called fee if it is persued because as far as I’m concerned it is for personal use. PRS another company enquired last September 2011 and had accepted my situation and allowed me to continue without a licence. The worlds gone mad!! and I might too if I don’t have something to listen to during the quite times I might just have to get headphones instead as I understand this is OK other than that I will have to remove the radio from the shop, this is bullying to obtain money from small business’s as far as I am concerned and as I am not a youngster (age 63) blaring out the latest trends and downloading this and that so the world can hear.I am really angry and felt I needed to let someone know. Oh! by the way what about all of the boy racers driving around the town centres with their music blaring out nobody does anything about them do they?

A film review can coanitn an analysis. I would say that most do. Try and give a brief plot outline without including spoilers. You can add your opinion in a review whereas an analysis would be void of opinion. So wherever you have made analytical points throw in your opinion as well. Also reviews tend to compare what they are reviewing to other subjects, usually what they are similar to. Movies reviews often refer to other movies to convey certain similarities. A good place to check for references to other movies is IMDB.com. Find your movie and read the user comments that discuss the movie. They almost always reference other movies as comparison as well as usually giving well founded opinions.
